We have strived over the years to improve our herd with every crop of cria and I think we have. We have a nice range of colours, bloodlines and our alpacas come with very nice temperaments. We have improved our fleeces every year to compliment the correct conformation of our animals. Last year we felt that we needed to make a move upward and in May of 2008 Hawkeye Alpacas partnered with Nancy Laskin of Woodhill Fine Alpacas of Millarville in the purchase of 3 young male alpacas. We chose the farm of KJ Alpacas of Innisfail and purchased Kiefer Alyst, Nitrous Alyst and SweetSuccess Alyst. These young males carry the impressive blood of Victor’s Vaccoyo, Jolimont Peruvian Sweet William, Pperuvian Caligula, Lional and Peruvian Bueno.
